Really like the idea of calling your own bluff. I like this format too. The visual help me to get the message.

Hi Van. Calling your own bluff is a great way to see if you’re serious about success. As they say, self deception is the worst deception. The road to mediocrity is paved with people bluffing themselves into believing that it’s not the right time or the right opportunity. Fortune favors the bold.

This is a great topic to cover. It’s easy to fall into one of these types and then hurt our progress over a long term. I really like the suggestions you had in the infograph, especially the one about thinking for yourself.

Thanks for sharing Erik. Appreciate your input.

“There are many people who are not financially free and they love giving advice about money and success.” Well put. I notice the same thing. The very people who haven’t done it are the ones with all the bad advice!

So true Cynthia. Critical thinking skills are an absolute necessity for success. Too many people want to put their thinking on auto pilot. This robs them of the sense of self-responsibility necessary to make change happen in their lives. My favorite saying along these lines is, “If it’s got to be, it’s got to be me”.
